KOLZ (102.9MHz) is atop 40 (CHR)FMradio station licensed toKirtland, New Mexico. The station serves the Four Corners area and is currently owned byiHeartMedia, Inc. It features local programming, as well as programming fromPremiere Networks, including theElvis Duran & the Morning Show,Remix Top 30Most Requested Live, theAmerican Top 40 andOn Air With Ryan Seacrest.[3][4]
The station signed on in November 1999 as KAZX, playingChristmas music;[5][6] aside from thisstunt, the station has featured the "Star" contemporary hit radio format for its entire history.[7] The KOLZ call sign was moved to this station fromKABQ-FM inCorrales in 2021.
KOLZ formerly relayed its signal to an FM translator broadcasting on 107.7MHz in order to improve coverage inDurango. The license was cancelled on February 9, 2023.
