KNBX-CD (meaning "Nevada Box") was owned byEquity Media Holdings and previously broadcast programming from TeleFórmula. Before that, it had aired programming fromMTV2. Like mostover-the-air MTV2affiliates, it was an affiliate ofThe Box until that network's acquisition byViacom in 2001.
KNBX-CD was sold at auction to Mako Communications on April 16, 2009.[2] Most recently, it operated as atranslator ofAzteca América affiliateKMCC (channel 34).
