KIXW-FM (107.3MHz) is a commercial radio station inLenwood, California,[2] broadcasting to the eastern section of theHigh Desert area (includingBarstow). It is simulcast onKIXF 101.5 FM inBaker, California. The stations share acountry format.
The stations are branded as "Highway Country 107.3 & 101.5" and its target audience consists of travelers onInterstate 15 between Los Angeles andLas Vegas.
KIXW-FM and KIXF were once unified withKIXA inApple Valley to broadcast "Rock 106.5" across Lenwood, Baker and Barstow in 1998. After "Rock 106.5" was shut down in 2002,Clear Channel Communications sold off KIXW-FM and KIXA to Heftel Broadcasting, and relaunched KIXA asclassic rock station "The Fox 106".
