Justin Tipping is an American television and film director, screenwriter, and executive producer best known for his work onKicks (2016),Flatbush Misdemeanors (2021), andJoe vs. Carole (2022).

In 2016, Tipping began his career by serving as the director ofKicks.^[1] In November 2018, he signed on to direct and co-write a film based on theHarbinger comics.^[2][3] In 2019, he directed episodes ofBlack Monday,The Chi, andDear White People.^[4][5] In the same year, he was in discussions to direct theMarvel Cinematic Universe filmShang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.^[6] In 2020, he directed episodes ofDare Me andTwenties.^[7][8] In 2021, he gained notability from directing episodes ofJoe vs. Carole,Run the World, andFlatbush Misdemeanors.^[9][10][11] Tipping co-wrote and directed the 2025 sports horror filmHim forJordan Peele'sMonkeypaw Productions.^[12][13]
