Juniperus angosturana, orslender oneseed juniper,[2] is a species ofconifer in the familyCupressaceae.[1]
The tree isendemic to north-eastern Mexico.[3] It is found in habitats of theSierra Madre Oriental range, within the states ofCoahuila,Hidalgo,Nuevo León,Queretaro,San Luis Potosí, andTamaulipas.[3]
Data are lacking to estimate rates of decline, both in the past and for the future, but a continuing decline is inferred from the situation that much of the population ofJuniperus angosturana occurs on land that is increasingly under pressure from grazing livestock.[3]
