Julian Gallagher (born 17 July 1968 inBromley, London) is a British songwriter and record producer, known for being a member of the music production/songwriting teamBiffco. He has co-wrote and produced for many artists includingKylie Minogue on her 2001 albumFever,Gabrielle on her 2007 albumAlways, as well as co-writing many songs for boy bandFive, including the chart-topping singles "Keep On Movin'" and "Let's Dance".
Other songs co-written by Gallagher include "Lullaby" forMel B, and the UK chart-topper "What Took You So Long?" for fellowSpice Girls memberEmma Bunton.
Although mainly a rhythm and lead guitarist, Gallagher is also proficient on keyboards, bass guitar and drums. In addition to his own songwriting career, he has worked on many projects with his elder brother, producer and engineer Dillon Gallagher.
Gallagher's father is Scottish singer-songwriterBenny Gallagher, one half of the duoGallagher and Lyle.
