Jubba Valley

TheJubba Valley (Somali:Dooxada Jubbada) is avalley inEast Africa.

It follows the line of theJubba River north from theIndian Ocean to theSomalia-Ethiopia border. The valley then splits, one branch following theDawa River west along the Ethiopia-Kenya frontier, then north into Ethiopia, and the other branch follows theGanale Dorya River north into Ethiopia.

Along with theShebelle Valley, and the nearbyChamo andAbaya lakes, the Jubba Valley is considered anEndemic Bird Area byBirdlife International.

The Somali section of Jubba Valley is known asJubaland.
