Journalism Studies is a bimonthlypeer-reviewedacademic journal coveringcommunication studies as it pertains tojournalism. It was established in 2000 by Bob Franklin (Cardiff University), who served as itseditor-in-chief until stepping down in 2018.[1] It is published byRoutledge on behalf of theEuropean Journalism Training Association, the European Communication Research and Education Association and the Journalism Studies Division of theInternational Communication Association.[2] The current editor-in-chief is Folker Hanusch (University of Vienna). According to theJournal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2020impact factor of 3.741.[3]
