TheJournal of Palestine Studies (JPS) is a quarterlypeer-reviewedacademic journal which has been published since 1971. It is published byTaylor and Francis on behalf of theInstitute for Palestine Studies.
The journal was established in 1971.[1]Burhan Dajani,Walid Khalidi, Fuad Sarruf andConstantin Zureiq were instrumental in its start.[1] The founding editor-in-chief wasHisham Sharabi.[1] It is published by Taylor and Francis, having previously been published by theUniversity of California Press. The editors-in-chief areRashid Khalidi (Columbia University) andSherene Seikaly (UC Santa Barbara). The journal coversPalestinian affairs and theArab–Israeli conflict.[2]
JPS is abstracted and indexed inScopus and theSocial Sciences Citation Index.[3] According to theJournal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2022impact factor of 0.8.[4]
