Josmar Jesús Zambrano Suárez (born 9 June 1992) is a Venezuelan professionalfootballer who plays forUreña as anattacking midfielder.
Zambrano was born inSan Cristóbal, Táchira. He finished his formation withCD Tenerife in Spain,[1][2] signing his first professional contract on 25 August 2010 shortly after his 18th birthday.[3]
Zambrano made his official debut for theCanary Islands side on 1 September 2010, coming on as a latesubstitute forIriome González in a 1–4 away loss againstElche CF inthe season'sCopa del Rey.[4] His first league appearance came the following month, as he played 12 minutes in a 1–3 defeat atFC Barcelona B in theSegunda División.[5]
Zambrano's form forTenerife's reserves attracted attention from bigger clubs such asFC Barcelona andSevilla FC.[6] Nothing came of it and, on 29 December 2011, he returned to his country and joinedZamora FC on loan.[7]
Zambrano could not found his room in Tenerife's first team after his return, and he terminated his link on 18 January 2013.[8] Four days later he signed withRecreativo de Huelva, being immediately loaned toCD San Roque de Lepe inSegunda División B.[9]
On 30 December 2014, Zambrano cut ties withRecre and joinedDeportivo La Guaira, being immediately loaned toZulia FC also in Venezuela.[10]
