Joshua Kearney Mullin (born 23 September 1992) is aScottish professionalfootballer who plays as amidfielder forScottish Championship clubRaith Rovers.

He has previously played forEast Stirlingshire,Albion Rovers,Ross County,Hamilton Academical,Livingston andAyr United, as well asjunior clubsPollok andKilbirnie Ladeside.

Career

Juniors

Having been signed as a youth player with a number of clubs,[3] Mullin dropped down to theScottish Juniors withPollok andKilbirnie Ladeside.

Albion Rovers

Mullin's first appearance in senior football arrived when he signed forScottish League Two clubAlbion Rovers in August 2014, having signed a pre-contract agreement with the club in March 2014.[4] His debut came as a second-half substitute forGary Fisher, in a 2–2 draw withAirdrieonians in theScottish Challenge Cup in July 2014,[5] whilst his first goal for the side was a 91st-minute strike in a 2–0 victory overAnnan Athletic.[6] Mullin helped Rovers win the League Two title.[7]

Livingston

Mullin signed a two-year deal forScottish Championship clubLivingston on 1 February 2016, for an undisclosed fee.[8][9] Following the club's relegation toScottish League One in May 2016,[10] Mullin helped Livingston return to the Scottish Championship at the first attempt,[11] with four goals[12] and five assists[13] in 27 appearances.

Ross County

Ross County announced the signing of Mullin on 28 May 2018 after he left Livingston under freedom of contract.[14] In his first season with the club Mullin helped County gain promotion back to theScottish Premiership by winning theScottish Championship and theScottish Challenge Cup, coming off of the bench in thefinal of the latter to score twice.[15] On 2 October 2020, Mullin departed Ross County, after his request to leave was accepted.[16]

Livingston (second spell)

On 5 October 2020, Mullin returned to Livingston for a second spell, signing until the end of the2020–21 season, with the option of a further two years.[17] He made his debut the following day, scoring twice in a 5–1 win away toEdinburgh City in theScottish League Cup.[18]

In August 2021 he moved on loan toHamilton Academical.[19] Mullin scored his first goal for Hamilton Academical on 26 December 2021 versusKilmarnock[20]

Ayr United

Mullin joinedAyr United on a season long loan in August 2022.[21] On 31 January 2023, Mullin would depart his parent club Livingston by mutual consent, and would join Ayr United on a permanent deal the same day.[22]

Raith Rovers

On 30 May 2023, Mullin joinedScottish Championship clubRaith Rovers on a three-year deal.[23]
