Joséphine Pagnier (born 4 June 2002)[1] is a Frenchski jumper.
She won two medals at the2020 Winter Youth Olympics and won the French national championship in 2019 and 2020. She competed in thenormal hill event at the2022 Winter Olympics and came third at a2021–22 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup event inAigner-Schanze.
In 2016, Pagnier jumped over 100 metres (330 ft) for the first time in her career, during a junior event atFichtelbergschanzen, Germany. She was aged 14 at the time.[2] She won the two2016–17 FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup events inNotodden, Norway.[3] She made herFIS Ski Jumping World Cup debut in 2017 inHinterzarten, Germany.[4] She was part of the French team that won the ladies' team event at the2018 Nordic Junior World Ski Championships.[5] Pagnier won the French National Ski Jumping Championships in 2019 and 2020.[6] She was promoted to the French senior team ahead of the 2019–20 season;[7] she was the only French female ski jumper added to the senior team that season.[8]
At the2020 Winter Youth Olympics, Pagnier won a silver in thegirls' individual event and a bronze medal in themixed team event.[1][9] She also competed in the ski jumping part of themixed team Nordic Combined event, where France finished fourth.[10] At the2021 Nordic Junior World Ski Championships, Pagnier came second in the girl's individual event.[11] At theFIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2021, Pagnier came 16th in thewomen's individual event.[1] She won one2021–22 FIS Cup summer event inGérardmer, France,[12] and finished third in another.[13] She came fourth at one2021–22 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup event inWillingen, Germany,[14][15] and sixth in another event at the same venue.[16]
Pagnier qualified to compete in thenormal hill event at the2022 Winter Olympics.[9] A few days before the Games, she finished fourth in a World Cup event.[17] At the Games, Pagnier finished seventh overall in the first round and finished 11th after the second and final round.[18] She was unable to compete in themixed team event at the Games, as there were too few French athletes to compete with.[16] After the Games, Pagnier was described as the future of French ski jumping.[17]
Pagnier finished third in a normal hill event at the2021–22 FIS Ski Jumping World Cup meeting inAigner-Schanze.[19]
During the2023-24 season, she first finished 2nd and won the next event, taking the World Cup lead.

Pagnier is fromChaux-Neuve, and as of 2022, she lives inFranche-Comté, France.[9] She is coached by her father Joël.[1]
