Joseph Bernardo (31 May 1929 – 6 December 2023) was a Frenchswimmer and Olympic medalist.[1]
Joseph Bernardo was born inAlgiers,French Algeria. He competed at the1952 Olympic Games inHelsinki, where he received a bronze medal in 4 × 200 mfreestyle relay with the French swimming team (withJean Boiteux,Aldo Eminente, andAlexandre Jany).[2]
Bernardo married actress and theater directorSimone Turck in 1952.
Bernardo died on 6 December 2023, at the age of 94.[3]
