Joseph Žuk (d. February 24, 1934) was bishop of theUkrainian Orthodox Church of North America. He was born inEastern Galicia.[1] He was educated at theLviv Seminary and the University of Rome, where he graduated a Doctorate of Divinity.[2] He was at one time Rector of the Lviv Seminary.[2][3] He moved to the United States in 1922.[1] He was made pastor of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Church inPassaic, New Jersey, in 1923, and was moved to a church inAllentown, Pennsylvania, in January 1924.[4] He was consecrated bishop in 1932, within theAmerican Orthodox Catholic Church byAftimios Ofiesh.[1][5]
