José Carmelo Cepeda García de León (Spanish pronunciation:[xoˈseθeˈpeða]; born 19 July 1968) is a Spanish politician of theSpanish Socialist Workers' Party who was electedmember of the European Parliament in2024.[1] He previously served as a member of theAssembly of Madrid for two decades,[2] and assenator of Spain, vice president of theInter-Parliamentary Union, and member of theCouncil of Europe.[3]
