Jorge Martín Araujo Paredes (born 30 November 1979) is a Peruvianfootballcoach and former player who played as adefender. He is the assistant manager ofUniversitario de Deportes.
Born inLima, Araujo has played over 100 games for bothUniversitario de Deportes andAlianza Atlético. He was also a member of thePeruvian national team on one occasion in 2003.
On 29 January 2018, Araujo was appointed assistant manager of his last club,Academia Deportiva Cantolao.[1] In December 2018 it was then confirmed, that he would be the club's head coach for the 2019 season.[2] He was fired at the end of 2019.[3]
