Jordyn Tyson (born August 12, 2004) is an Americancollege footballwide receiver for theArizona State Sun Devils. He previously played for theColorado Buffaloes.

Early life

Tyson attendedAllen High School inAllen, Texas his freshman, sophomore and senior years andIndependence High School inFrisco, Texas his junior year.[1] As a senior, he had 80 receptions for 1,512 yards and 12touchdowns. He committed to theUniversity of Colorado Boulder to play college football.[2]

College career

Tyson played nine games in his lone year at Colorado in 2022, recording 22 receptions for a team leading 470 yards and fivetouchdowns.[3] After the season he entered the transfer portal and transferred toArizona State University.[4] In his first year at Arizona State in 2023 he played in only three games due to injury and did not record a catch.[5] Tyson returned to Arizona State in 2024 as the team's number one receiver.[6]

Personal life

Tyson’s older brother Berron playedcollege football atSouth Alabama, where he now serves as a strength and conditioning coach, while his older brotherJaylon currently plays for theCleveland Cavaliers of theNational Basketball Association (NBA). His father John Tyson played football atFlorida A&M.[6]
