John Pekyns

John Pekyns was anOxfordcollegehead in the16th century.[1]

Pekyns was educated atExeter College, Oxford, graduatingB.A. in 1523 andM.A. in 1524. He wasRector from 1531 to 1534.[2] A priest, he held theliving atBradwell juxta Mare from 1542 until his deprivation in 1554. He was also aCanon ofWestminster.
