John G. Prague (also calledH. G. Prague andJ. A. Prague) was an American politician affiliated with theRepublican Party.[1] On November 5, 1872, he was elected member of theNevada Assembly, where he representedNye County withJohn Bowman.[2] Prague's term started the following day and he served in one regular session.[1][3] Records from that session stated that Prague lived inTwin River.[4] His mandate ended in November 1874. Prague and Bowman were succeeded byJohn B. McGee andP. M. Ellison.[2]
In 1875, he became postmaster of the post office in Twin River.[5][6]
