John Eshun (17 July 1942 – 6 November 2018)[2] was aGhana internationalfootball defender.
Born inSekondi, Eshun began playing club football for local sidesSekondi Eleven Wise F.C. andSekondi Hasaacas F.C. Eshun represented Ghana at the1968 Summer Olympics inMexico City and the1972 Summer Olympics inMunich. He also made several appearances for the seniorGhana national football team, including twoFIFA World Cup qualifying matches, and he played at the1968 and1970 African Cup of Nations finals.
After Eshun retired from playing football, he became a coach. He managedTema Youth,[3]Ebusua Dwarfs.[4] andBerekum Arsenal.[5]
