John Clarey (born 4 October 1940) is a British formerracing cyclist.[1]

Cycling career

He representedEngland in the 10 miles scratch race at the1962 British Empire and Commonwealth Games inPerth, Western Australia, despite being hospitalised a few days earlier when training for the event at the velodrome.[2]

Four years later he was selected to represent England again at the1966 British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Kingston, Jamaica where he participated in the road race.[3]

He was the national 10 miles champion but finished inlast place in the1968 Tour de France.[4]
