Joseph R. Duplin (May 30, 1934 – August 7, 2016)^[1] was an American sailor in theStar class who won the1963 Star World Championship together withFrancis Dolan.^[2]

Duplin died at his home on August 7, 2016, due to complications fromAlzheimer's disease. He was 82.^[1][3]
