Joe Darion (30 January 1911 — 16 June 2001)[1] was an American musical theatrelyricist, most famous forMan of La Mancha, which is considered, by some critics, as a precursor to 1980ssung-through musicals such asLes Miserables.[2]
Darion was born inNew York City and died at age 90 inLebanon, New Hampshire.
