Joseph Daniel Biscaha (born June 1, 1937) is an American former professionalfootball player who was anend in theNational Football League (NFL) for theNew York Giants in 1959 and in theAmerican Football League (AFL) for theBoston Patriots in 1960. After signing with theNew York Titans in 1961, he retired from professional football.
Biscaha playedhigh school football atPope Pius XII High School inPassaic, New Jersey.[1] He playedcollege football for theRichmond Spiders.
Following his career in professional football, he entered the field of education where he served as a teacher of Biology and football coach at Paterson Central,John F. Kennedy High School,Passaic Valley Regional High School, andBloomfield High School. He also coached in the initial years for thePaterson Catholic High School program in football. His teaching/coaching career continued for 25 years and was highlighted by three New Jersey State Championship seasons, 1975,1979 and 1980, at Passaic Valley and numerous coaching honors. After an eight-year retirement from Education, while working in financial services, he returned to serve ten years as a School Administrator atPassaic County Technical Institute until his retirement in 2005.
Having graduated from theUniversity of Richmond with a BS in biology, he later attained an MA in School Administration in 1966 fromSeton Hall University.
