Joaquín Marcelo Laso (born 4 July 1990) is an Argentine professionalfootballer who plays as acentre-back forTigre.[2]
Laso had youth spells with Ferroviarios, Racing Club,Cadetes andQuilmes.[3] His senior career started in 2009 withArgentine Primera División teamTigre, he failed to make a first-team appearance in two years and left in 2011 to joinUnión Mar del Plata ofTorneo Argentino A.[4] However, his spell inMar del Plata was short as he soon departed. In 2012, Laso joinedTorneo Argentino B sideHuracán.[4] He went onto make twenty-five appearances and score twice in one season.[4] 2013 saw Laso joinPrimera C Metropolitana teamSportivo Italiano.[4] Overall, he scored six goals in fifty-one matches; including in his penultimate game versusAcassuso.[2]
On 13 January 2015, Laso completed a move to the Primera División'sArgentinos Juniors.[5][6] He made his top-flight debut in May in a home loss toAldosivi.[2] Following relegation in2016, Laso appeared twenty-three times as Argentinos won the2016–17 Primera B Nacional.[2] On 2 January 2018, Laso joinedVélez Sarsfield on a free transfer.[7][8] His opening appearance for Vélez came on 27 January versusDefensa y Justicia.[2] After eighteen months with them, Laso departed in June 2019 toLiga MX'sAtlético San Luis; his first experience abroad.[2][9]
