Joan Femenías del Salto (born 19 August 1996) is a Spanishfootballer who plays as agoalkeeper forLiga Portugal 2 clubPenafiel.
Born inManacor,Mallorca,Balearic Islands, Femenías joinedVillarreal CF's youth setup in 2013, fromCE Constància. He made his senior debut withthe reserves on 22 March 2015, coming on as a second-halfsubstitute forAnton Shvets in a 3–1Segunda División B away defeat ofCD Eldense.[1]
Ahead of the2015–16 campaign, Femenías was assigned tothe C-team inTercera División.[2] He was definitely promoted to the B's in July 2016,[3] but only became a regular starter in the2018–19 season after the departure ofAnder Cantero.
On 17 July 2019,free agent Femenías signed a one-year deal withSegunda División newcomersCF Fuenlabrada.[4] A third-choice behindBiel Ribas andPol Freixanet, he made his professional debut on 28 June 2020, replacing the latter in the first half of a 1–1 home draw againstExtremadura UD.[5]
On 12 August 2020, Femenías signed a two-year deal with fellow second division sideReal Oviedo.[6] He was an undisputed starter for the side before moving tofreshly relegated sideLevante UD on 1 July 2022.[7]
On 22 June 2024, Femenías reached an agreement withReal Zaragoza, with his two-year deal being effective as of 1 July.[8] Roughly one year later, after losing his starting spot toGaëtan Poussin, he terminated his link with the club.[9]
On 30 July 2025, Femenías signed with Portuguese clubPenafiel on a free, one-year transfer.[citation needed]
