James Edwin Verdieck (June 9, 1919 – October 26, 2001) was anAmerican football andtennis coach.[1] He served as the head football coach atRedlands University inRedlands, California from 1953 to 1958, compiling a record of 34–19–3. Verdieck playedcollege football atStanford University as acenter. He was a member ofClark Shaughnessy's1940 Stanford Indians football team, which went undefeated, winning thePacific Coast Conference and the1941 Rose Bowl.[2]
