James Allan Turney (8 July 1922 – 8 July 1995) was an Englishfootballer who made 40 appearances inthe Football League playing as awinger forDarlington.[2] He previously playednon-league football for Blyth Shipyard andBlackhall Colliery Welfare, and went on to play forBlyth Spartans,[3] eventually spending ten years as manager[4] and becoming long serving chairman.[3]
