James Leslie Gideon (born September 26, 1953) is an American formerMajor League Baseballpitcher who played for one season. He pitched for theTexas Rangers for one game on September 14 during the1975 season. He was traded along withRoy Smalley III,Mike Cubbage andBill Singer from the Rangers to theMinnesota Twins forBert Blyleven andDanny Thompson on June 1, 1976.[1]
