Jessie 'Jay' Purves was an internationaltable tennis player from the United States.[1]

Table tennis career

She won two World Championship medals[2] including a gold medal in the Women's Team event at the1937 World Table Tennis Championships.[3][4][5]

Hall of Fame

She was inducted into the USA Hall of Fame in 1979 months after her death.[6][7]
