Jersey Island is an island in theSacramento-San Joaquin River Delta ofContra Costa County, California, approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) east ofAntioch. The 1,425-hectare (3,520-acre) island is bounded on the west by theSan Joaquin River-Stockton Deepwater Shipping Channel, on the north by theFalse River, on the northeast byPiper Slough, on the east byTaylor Slough, and on the south byDutch Slough. It is administered byReclamation District 830.[1]
