Jerry Paul Fontenot (born November 21, 1966) is anAmerican football coach and formercenter who played in theNational Football League (NFL) for theChicago Bears,New Orleans Saints andCincinnati Bengals.

He was drafted by the Bears in the third round of the 1989 NFL Draft.[1] He attendedTexas A&M University.
Fontenot served as an assistant offensive line coach and tight ends coach for theGreen Bay Packers from 2006 to 2015.[2] On January 19, 2016, Fontenot was fired.[3] In 2019, he became offensive line coach for theLos Angeles Wildcats of theXFL.[4]
