Jens Dyrløv Eriksen (born 30 December 1969) is abadminton player fromDenmark. He competed in four consecutiveOlympic Games from 1996 to 2008, and won a mixed doubles bronze medal in2004 partnered withMette Schjoldager. At theWorld Championships, Eriksen won two silvers in1995 and1997, and also two bronze medals in 2001 and 2006.[1]
He playedbadminton at the 2004 Summer Olympics in men's doubles and mixed doubles.
In men's doubles, Eriksen and his partnerMartin Lundgaard Hansen had a bye in the first round and defeatedHoward Bach andKevin Han of theUnited States in the second. In the quarterfinals, Eriksen and Hansen beatFu Haifeng andCai Yun ofChina 3-15, 15-11, 15-8. They lost the semifinal toLee Dong-soo andYoo Yong-sung ofKorea 9-15, 15-5, 15-3 and the bronze medal match againstEng Hian andFlandy Limpele ofIndonesia 15-13, 15-7 to finish fourth place.
He also competed in mixed doubles with partnerMette Schjoldager. They defeatedSvetoslav Stoyanov andVictoria Wright ofFrance in the first round andKim Yong-hyun andLee Hyo-jung of Korea in the second. In the quarterfinals, Eriksen and Schjoldager beatNova Widianto andVita Marissa ofIndonesia 15-12, 15-8 to advance to the semifinals. There, they lost toZhang Jun andGao Ling of China 15-9, 15-5. In the bronze medal match, they defeated fellow Danish pairJonas Rasmussen andRikke Olsen 15-5, 15-5 to win thebronze medal.

The BWF Superseries, which was launched on 14 December 2006 and implemented in 2007,[2] was a series of elite badminton tournaments, sanctioned by theBadminton World Federation (BWF). BWF Superseries levels wereSuperseries and Superseries Premier. A season of Superseries consisted of twelve tournaments around the world that had been introduced since 2011.[3] Successful players were invited to the Superseries Finals, which were held at the end of each year.
