Jena Sims Koepka (bornJena Michelle Sims; December 30, 1988) is an American actress and model. She has appeared inmade-for-TV films andB movies such asAttack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader (2012),3-Headed Shark Attack (2015) andSharknado 5: Global Swarming (2017). She was also namedMiss Georgia Teen USA in 2007.

Early life and education

Sims grew up inWinder, Georgia, and graduated fromWinder-Barrow High School in 2007. She briefly attendedBelmont University inNashville, Tennessee, where she studied marketing.[1][2]

In 2004, Sims was crowned Miss Georgia Junior National Teenager,[3][dead link] and later won the Miss Junior National Teenager title 2005.[4] A year later, Sims won theMiss Georgia Teen USA 2007 title in a state pageant held inNewnan on November 11, 2006.[5][6] Sims representedGeorgia in theMiss Teen USA 2007 pageant inPasadena, California, in August 2007, but did not place. She was the first Miss Georgia Teen USA not to place in the pageant since 2003.

Pageant of Hope

Sims runs a non-profit organisation that hosts beauty pageants for children with cancer and other disadvantages called the Pageant of Hope.[7] The pageants have been held inGeorgia,Tennessee,New York,Michigan,Wisconsin, andCalifornia.[8]

Acting

Sims has starred inAttack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader (2012),[9] and has appeared in an episode of television seriesEntourage.[10]

Personal life

On June 4, 2022, Sims married LIV Tour golferBrooks Koepka.[11] The couple's first child, a son, was born on July 27, 2023.[12]
