Jeanne DuVall (born December 7, 1959) is an American former professionaltennis player.
A right-handed player from Dallas, DuVall was a Texas 18 and under state champion.[1] She played college tennis for theUCLA Bruins and in 1978 won theAIAW singles championship (overKathy Jordan), which earned her aHonda Award.[2][3][4]
DuVall had her breakthrough performance on the WTA at Hilton Head in 1978 when she upsetWendy Turnbull en route to the quarterfinals.[5] At the1979 US Open she beatBettina Bunge,Nancy Yeargin andJulie Harrington to make the fourth round, where she lost in three sets toEvonne Goolagong. She won a Fort Myers Avon Futures tournament in 1980 and was a two-time quarterfinalist at theU.S. Clay Court Championships.
