Javon Pyree Solomon (born January 17, 2001) is an American professionalfootballdefensive end for theBuffalo Bills of theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football atTroy and was selected by the Bills in the fifth round of the2024 NFL draft.
Solomon attendedAmos P. Godby High School inTallahassee, Florida. As a senior, he had 73 tackles and 10 sacks. He committed toTroy University to play college football.[1]
After playing in three games and redshirting his first year at Troy in 2019, Solomon had 29 tackles and 1.5 sacks in 2020. He had 50 tackles, 11 sacks and oneinterception in 2021 and 44 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 2022.[2][3] Solomon switched from outside linebacker to defensive end in 2023 and was named anAll-American.[4][5] He was selected to play in the2024 Senior Bowl.[6]
