Jasenko Omanović (born 1967) is aSwedish politician and former member of theRiksdag, the nationallegislature. A member of theSocial Democratic Party, he representedVästernorrland County between October 2006 and September 2018, and between September 2021 and September 2022.[1] He was asubstitute member of the Riksdag forStefan Löfven between September 2018 to August 2021.[1]
Omanović is the son of Sakib Omanovic and economist Bekira Omanovic (née Dolic)[1] He studied electrical engineering inBanja Luka,Bosnia and Herzegovina.[1] He fled to Sweden as arefugee during theBosnian War.[2] He has been a member of themunicipal council inHärnösand Municipality since 2002.[1]
