Janis Holt (born December 20, 1959) is an American politician. She represents the18th district of theTexas House of Representatives.[1]
In March 2024, Holt defeated incumbentErnest Bailes in the Republican primary election for the18th district of theTexas House of Representatives.[2] In November 2024, Holt defeated Seth Steele, winning 86.6% of the vote.[3] She succeededErnest Bailes. She assumed office on January 14, 2025.[1]
