Jandol State

Pashtun Islamic princely state of the British Raj and later Pakistan

Jandol (also calledJandool orJandul) was a minorPashtunprincely state at the time of theBritish Raj.[1] It was established circa 1830, with its capital at Barwa (modernSamarbagh).Umra Khan was probably its most prominent ruler. It became a part of the princely state ofDir and later ofPakistan as a result of the integration of theprincely states of Pakistan.[2]
