Jamshed Nowroji Vazifdar, popularly known asJimmy, was aParsi physician from India[1] and a former secretary of theIndian Red Cross Society at its Maharashtra Chapter.[2] Born in Mumbai and graduated in medicine in 1946,[1] he is known to have contributed to the blood transfusion movement in India.[3] TheGovernment of India awarded him the fourth highest Indian civilian award ofPadma Shri in 1973.[4] He died in 2000.[2]
