James Barry Norris (born 4 April 2003) is an English professionalfootballer who plays as aleft-back forLeague of Ireland Premier Division clubShelbourne, on loan fromPremier League clubLiverpool.[4]
Norris made his professional debut forLiverpool whilst still a scholar on 17 December 2019, coming on as a substitute in the away match againstAston Villa in thequarter-finals of theEFL Cup.[4]
Norris joinedTranmere Rovers on a season-long loan on 1 September 2023.[5] He made his debut on 5 September, in anEFL Trophy fixture againstFleetwood Town, being substituted after only 42 minutes.[6]
On 17 February 2025, he signed forLeague of Ireland Premier Division clubShelbourne on loan until the end of their season in November.[7]
In September 2019, Norris started for theEngland under-17 team as they defeated hostsPoland to win the Syrenka Cup.[8]
On 29 March 2021, Norris made his debut forEngland U18s during a 2–0 win away to Wales at theLeckwith Stadium.[9]
On 6 September 2021, Norris made his debut for theEngland U19s during a 1–1 draw withGermany inBad Dürrheim.[10]
