TheJames Logan Elementary School is a historic American elementaryschool building in theLogan neighborhood ofPhiladelphia, Pennsylvania.
It is part of theSchool District of Philadelphia, and was added to theNational Register of Historic Places in 1988 as theLogan Demonstration School.[1]
The building was designed byIrwin T. Catharine and built between 1923 and 1924. It is a three-story, nine-bay, U-shaped, brick building with a raised basement. It was designed in theColonial Revival-style, and features a central entrance pavilion, round arched surrounds, and a brickparapet.[2]
It was added to theNational Register of Historic Places in 1988 as theLogan Demonstration School.[1]
