TheJames J. Sullivan School is a historicelementary school that is located in theFrankford neighborhood ofPhiladelphia,Pennsylvania,United States.
It is part of theSchool District of Philadelphia, and was added to theNational Register of Historic Places in 1988.[1]
The building was designed byIrwin T. Catharine and built between 1929 and 1930. It is a three-story, eight-bay, yellow brick building which sits on a raised basement. It was designed in theArt Deco style, and features an arched entryway withterra cotta trim and pilasters, a terra cotta cornice, and brickparapet.[2]
It was added to theNational Register of Historic Places in 1988.[1]
