Jake Silas (born September 1, 1991) is an American former professionalfootballoffensive lineman who played for theOttawa Redblacks of theCanadian Football League (CFL). He playedcollege football at theUniversity at Buffalo and attendedPortland High School inPortland, Michigan.[1] Silas signed with Ottawa as a free agent following the end of his college football career. After spending the entire2015 season on the Redblacks' practice squad, he was signed to the active roster for the2016 season, and made his CFL debut in the starting lineup on June 25, 2016, against theEdmonton Eskimos.[2][3]
