Jacob Rufe (born January 22, 1996) is an Americansoccer player who most recently played as adefender.
Rufe began playingcollege soccer atIndiana University in 2014, but didn't make an appearances for the Hoosiers during his two seasons due to injury.[1] In 2016, Rufe transferred toWestern Michigan University, where he played for three seasons, scoring 2 goals and tallying 4 assists in 55 appearances.[2]
During college, Rufe also played withNPSL sideAFC Ann Arbor in both 2016 and 2017.[3] In 2018, Rufe played in theUSL PDL withMichigan Bucks.[4]
After college, Rufe returned to play with AFC Ann Arbor during their 2019 season.[5][3]
In September 2019, Rufe signed forNISA sideStumptown Athletic ahead of the league's inaugural season.[6]
In May 2020, Rufe moved toUSL Championship sideBirmingham Legion.[7] He was released by Birmingham following their 2025 season.[8]
