Jada Ferguson (born 8 July 2002) is an Australianrugby league footballer who plays as afive-eighth orhooker for theBrisbane Broncos in theNRL Women's Premiership andTweed Heads Seagulls in theQRL Women's Premiership.
Born inToowoomba,Queensland, Ferguson began playing rugby league at age 11 but was forced to stop due to age restrictions, instead switching totouch football andrugby sevens.[1] She is cousins withBrisbane Broncos teammateShenae Ciesiolka.[2]
In 2021, Ferguson joined theTweed Heads Seagulls in theQRL Women's Premiership.[3] In June 2021, she played five-eighth for Queensland Under-19 in their loss to New South Wales Under-19 atSunshine Coast Stadium.[4]
In December 2021, Ferguson signed with theBrisbane Broncos for the rescheduled 2021NRL Women's Premiership season.[5]
In Round 1 of the2021 NRL Women's season, she made her debut for the Broncos, coming off the bench in a win over theSydney Roosters.[6]
