TheJacksonville Port Terminal Railroad (reporting markJXPT) is ashort lineterminal railroad run byWatco. It serves theJacksonville Port Authority and tenants with over ten miles of track. It has only one main line, running west from theTallyrand Marine Terminal on theSt Johns River to an interchange withCSX andNorfolk Southern northeast of downtownJacksonville, Florida. Formerly known as theTalleyrand Terminal Railroad. Operations began on July 28, 1996, under that name.[1] On March 8, 2017, Watco bought the railroad and renamed it the Jacksonville Port Terminal Railroad.[2]
