John Charles Peart (13 October 1884 – September 1965) was an English professionalfootballer who played inthe Football League forArsenal as afull back.[4][5][6]

Personal life

Peart enlisted as adriver in theRoyal Army Service Corps in 1903 and later held the rank ofcorporal.[7][8] He served with theBEF at theBattle of Mons in 1914,[8] after which he wasdischarged from thearmy and then recalled in November 1916.[6]
