JWH-030 is a research chemical which is acannabinoid receptoragonist.[2] It hasanalgesic effects and is used in scientific research.[3] It is a partial agonist atCB1 receptors, with aKi of 87 nM, making it roughly half the potency ofTHC.[4] It was discovered and named afterJohn W. Huffman.

In the United States, CB1 receptor agonists of the 3-(1-naphthoyl)pyrrole class such as JWH-030 areSchedule I Controlled Substances.[5]
