Jerome "JC"Latham (born February 8, 2003) is an American professionalfootballoffensive tackle for theTennessee Titans of theNational Football League (NFL). He playedcollege football for theAlabama Crimson Tide and was selected seventh overall by the Titans in the2024 NFL draft.

Early life

Latham was born on February 8, 2003, inMeridian, Mississippi,[1] and grew up inOak Creek, Wisconsin.[2][3][4] He originally attendedCatholic Memorial High School inWaukesha, Wisconsin, before transferring toIMG Academy inBradenton, Florida.[5][6][7] He played offensive tackle anddefensive end in high school.[8] He was selected to play in the 2020Under Armour All-America Game. A five-star recruit, Latham committed to theUniversity of Alabama to play college football.[9][10]

College career

Latham played in 14 games as a backup in his true freshman year at Alabama during the2021 season. The following year, he became the team's startingright tackle, and played all 13 games for both the2022 season and2023 season.[11] He was named a first teamAll-Southeastern Conference (SEC) and second-teamAll-American for his junior year.[12] He declared for the2024 NFL draft following the 2023 season.[13]

Latham was selected by theTennessee Titans seventh overall in the2024 NFL draft.[16] He became the Titans' startingleft tackle for the2024 season, switching from the right tackle position in college.[17] Latham started all 17 games of his rookie season. He played on every offensive snap and made threefumble recoveries.[18]

During 2025 training camp, the Titans announced that Latham would switch to the right tackle position with free agent acquisition,Dan Moore, taking over at left tackle.[19]

Personal life
